Put Your Best Foot Forward!

I do have a lot of shoes but I actually haven't bought any for aaaaaaaaaaages! I can never find anything I like, as they all seem to be a bit too fussy and strappy etc etc.

Well, Tara and I went to the new Selfridges Shoe Department the other day for a nosy and saw some nice Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, so I thought I would check out his website. I found these two beauties!!!!!! Elegant, clean and very stylish, just perfect. I won't be buying them cos they cost a bomb but hopefully the high street will catch on to this trend and start doing their own versions one day?

There was a very nice fashion piece on checks today in the Metro, it included Burberry Check Wellies, Vivienne Westwood dresses and the lovely Pink and White Check Collar, which is still available from Labour of Love in Angel.

The Daily - London Fashion Week Edition

Found this little monkey in The Daily today. Its the lovely Pewter Sequin Collar from AW10, the only thing is, it isn't going to be available from Asos but the good news is they will have the Black, Gold and Ivory Sequin Collars very soon! yay! I will keep you posted. x

Ridley Road Open Studios

Had a really great weekend at the Open Studio event. Lots of people came and went and Friday night got quite busy at times.

It was great to open the doors and see what is going on behind them! I saw some wonderful things in particular paintings by Chloe le Tissier, which I thought were fabulous, really colourful and beautiful. More about Chloe and some of the other residents later.

Islay

Stuart and I were invited to my friend Charlottes wedding to Jarvis last weekend in Scotland. It was held in a whiskey distillery and was on the Isle of Islay. We spent the fist day checking out all the beaches and the views were spectacular! Could definitely have stayed there chilling for a while. The distillery was decked in something like 80 m of fairy lights and looked AMAZING! As did Charlotte.

How I love a good wedding. x
