So, here are some photos of my other project Les Bruns! It is a Chalet in Le Biot, nr Morzine that my Husband and I have bought. We picked up the keys and signed on the dotted line on the 7th Feb and it was pretty much non stop since our return two weeks later. It was hard work but very rewarding and a very exciting adventure has now started. Thank you to the rest of our moving in team, which included Rich, who was very handy indeed! and my Mum and Dad and everyone else who has supported and and stored things for us etc etc over the last few months. Muchos appreciated!

We did the first official photo shoot today for Gemma Lister Jewellery and it was awesome! We had a beautiful and lovely model, who was amazing to work with, so professional and hardly took a bad shot at all, she was so beautiful.

We had Annie on hair and make-up who has recently graduated and has been cutting my hair for a long time, and she did an exceptional job! The hair and make-up were perfect and just as I imagined, so I was really happy.

And then there was Bernie the photographer, who is very talented photgrapher, fast, direct and a joy to work with, so all in all a great experience.

I do have a lot of shoes but I actually haven't bought any for aaaaaaaaaaages! I can never find anything I like, as they all seem to be a bit too fussy and strappy etc etc.

Well, Tara and I went to the new Selfridges Shoe Department the other day for a nosy and saw some nice Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, so I thought I would check out his website. I found these two beauties!!!!!! Elegant, clean and very stylish, just perfect. I won't be buying them cos they cost a bomb but hopefully the high street will catch on to this trend and start doing their own versions one day?

Had a really great weekend at the Open Studio event. Lots of people came and went and Friday night got quite busy at times.

It was great to open the doors and see what is going on behind them! I saw some wonderful things in particular paintings by Chloe le Tissier, which I thought were fabulous, really colourful and beautiful. More about Chloe and some of the other residents later.

Stuart and I were invited to my friend Charlottes wedding to Jarvis last weekend in Scotland. It was held in a whiskey distillery and was on the Isle of Islay. We spent the fist day checking out all the beaches and the views were spectacular! Could definitely have stayed there chilling for a while. The distillery was decked in something like 80 m of fairy lights and looked AMAZING! As did Charlotte.

I have just found out about this pop-up hotel called Jacques Townhouse. The interior has been designed by Interior Designer David Carter, proprietor of the gorgeous mini hotel 40 Winks.
I also read that David was helped by Cordelia Weston , who is a set designer/prop stylist. Check out the amazing cakes and pom poms and gold glitter, it looks ace!

It's been quite exciting this month reading all the monthly magazines as they are full of new AW10 outfits and trends. I love this time of year and next month we have the joy of the September issue! Yay.

What I have noticed while I have been flicking through all the glossies is that big for this Autumn Winter is Grey and excitingly Camel! I love Camel as it goes ace with red lipstick and will look really nice with my Dusky Pink Rope pices.
